We have dusting of snow in Nottingham, but it's the temps that are a killer. Sod's law that our shower runs off the boiler. Won't be sorted till Jan 4th.  |

So sorry to hear that Paul. It must be a real nightmare. My daughter has had the same problem. In these temps its no joke. I hope that you can get hold of a portable heater somehow and that its sorted very soon, although jan 4th is not soon enough is it. Dreamliner, you are very kind to say that. I'll pay you later.  |

wot the wot? I didn't want to leave bad comments for the third place story but...What!?!
Is that real.
I was sure I had it in the bag this year with a couple of stories I was proud of, then that gets third! My wife read it and said the same as paul, it's a joke right, they've posted a first draft by mistake, or perhaps their notes on a longer story.
Don't get me wrong I like the idea of elves escaping Santa's clutches it was an idea I toyed with an idea like it myself It just seemed a little bare, little more than ideas at most and a bunch of typo's. And doesn't Santa reside in a grotto?
gutted.
Dreamed on christmas eve morning that I didn't get first place because I didn't send the spiney staff any meat for christmas. It would have been cold turkey by the time it got their anyway.....
