Why?

Hi all, anyone know why my comments on a recent story have been emailed to the author? I notice another comment by someone else has been added below the story as normal. Mine though, has not been published, even though I submitted it a few days ago.

Given that my comments were polite and respectful, I just don't understand this. Can anyone enlighten me please?

I've no idea I'm afraid, Romany - I've not heard of that happening before.  Out of interest how do you know they were e mailed over - did you get a reply?

Hi. I know the answer why now (sorry folks!) Apparently my comment was too long. It was more of a critique I suppose, but given that it is a writer's site, that's kind of the point isn't it?

Yes I did get a reply.

Both of which points, as far as I am concerned anyway, highlight the need for more flexibility as regards commenting below stories.

Just my personal opinion.
