Can anyone tell me of any good zombie novels? Or, indeed, any good zombie stories up here?

Sorry, I don't ever read zombie stories, Bilbo, more a ghost story man myself, so can't help you.  Mind you, aren't zombie stories a little scary for you Shire people?

There's a zombie story in the May comp. It came second I believe but as for books, Im not aware of any at the moment, mainly because I dont read zombie books. I prefer the supernatural/serial killer type thing!

U mite want to check out brian keene if you haven't already, he's done a few zombie stories as well as a few other crackers. My new favourite author, loved everything he does. Also if your into your comicbooks check out the mammouth book of zombie comics, loved that as well.
Not many zombies stories on here you say? Check out my story The Chicken in Black, came first in March. If you like Peter Jackson and the Evil dead you might gain a little joy from it.
Happy readings

Do you like zombie films, Nat?  If you do and aren't offended by much bad language, then I thoroughly recommend the Danny Dyer film, "Doghouse".  A really good laugh.  I could never read a zombie book but I can always watch a zombie comedy.

Stupidity is the only thing that offends me nowadays... and the baby poo fragrence that has invaded my home! Will check out Dog house, just read a review and sounds fun. Check out fido with Billy Connely if you want a bit more brains with your zombie horror. I'd say my favourite zombie horror is a toss up between dawn of the dead (original!) and the return of the living dead, simply for the nightmares that the Tar Man gave me!

Nice one, I might try and get a look at them when I get a minute to myself.  Let me know what you thought of Doghouse if you do watch it - it's like Shaun of the dead with attitude.

Stupidity you can probably avoid for the most part by choosing who you converse with, but baby poo fragrance - I'm afraid you're stuck with that for a while my friend, if it ever goes!

As I understand it, WWZ is written as if reports about the world having fallen to zombies. Along those lines anyway. Have heard might be a movie in the making, but who knows.

Zombie survival guide rings a bell too.

If into games, Left 4 Dead is the one you want.

Thanks. I've ordered The Rising, by Brian Keene. Hope it's good as there's a follow on - City of the Dead.
