Not sure whether this film sits in the horror genre or the sci fi genre, or more likely is a hybrid of the two.  Anyway, watched it this afternoon and really enjoyed it - typical John Carpenter.  Anyone else seen it and if so what did you think.  It was worth watching if only for Natasha Henstridge in my opinion.

I try and go to the cinema at least once a week, so if there's a new film out there's a pretty good chance I'll see it, unless our local cinema doesn't air the film which appears to be the case with Legion.  I did fancy seeing it but now in view of what've said about it, I'm claim glad that it never came our way.  Didn't get to see the Road either, which was meant to be excellent.

However, i did see The Crazies a week ago and can fully recommend it if you like Zombie type films, which I must confess isn't my normal choice.  I went there expecting to hate it, but came away feeling thoroughly entertained, so yeah, tey and see it if you can.  Next up Green Zone this weekend and then the remake of Clash of the Titans, which looks awesome if you like fantasy films.

Seen Ghosts of Mars several times. Always found it to be very daft, not one of Carpenter's best, but I seem to watch it any time I come across it.  Grin
Well I'm a huge Carpenter fan, plus love horror and scifi.
Personally I'd put this more in scifi genre myself, but it is certainly a good mix of both.
